MODUS has developed a specifically European validation system, called PISTE—Permanent Integrative Simultaneous Testing Europe—which delivers results under pre-defined climatic and road conditions, including altitude profiles and varying car loads.
A test route mix, consisting of 50% Spain, 40% Germany and 10% Sweden, is considered the most relevant for the use of private cars in Europe.
